This is the beginning of a new series called Dancers... I plan to work all year on these and see how they pan out...
The armature has to be just right before the bronze goes on
I want her to be elegant A short trip round the studio, this is the end for welding

Here is my new little girl "Lillie by the Pond"
Made a good start with the first of my welded Dancer pieces for this year yesterday
This morning Im supposed to be working on my Couple painting... why is it that I will find ANYTHING to do rather than face it? Hence my blog update at 10am.
After a disastrous attempt to go back to my painting 4 days ago, I realised that Joc is taking up quite a bit of real estate in my head The question is ... is it the bit I use for creating? I am willing to try again this afternoon and find out. We are almost done with her house.... I am actually dreading finishing all the work we have been doing..
After two months these pictures have found their way home! how bizarre and to me quite special.. they were in the wallet which was stolen in Barcelona and along with my driver's license and Lauries identity were handed in at Madrid... so quite a long roundabout way to come home... I will always treasure these pictures now and they are back in my wallet where they belong.
After months of mulling, brooding and collecting inspiration for my new welded work this year.... a ten minute bull session with the boy has me on the way and excited . He is the problem solver extraordinaire..
Now I just have to match my vision for how the exhibition will look.
